Trump is sustained by applause lines. The crescendoing, ego caress of applause is the happiest ending for the performer. Crowds go erect as he spews anti-immigrant rhetoric. He may damage the GOP with hispanics, but has hit the g spot for many GOP voters. The Donald has an instinctive touch.
His attacks on establishment candidates like the barren Bush, or the aimless Walker are well received. The party elite has long wooed the base with false promises all but forgotten as soon as the ballot enters the box. Obamacare still lives after 50 token votes.
Trump, not dependent on the wealthy, will soon cross another line which mega donors consider statutory rape: increased taxes on the wealthy. What the establishment calls class warfare, may be his biggest applause line. A long delayed schism between the haves and the have a lots may open wide.
