Only the fashion editor loves a coronation. Conflict rules from the front page through the back of the sports section. It was inevitable that a Democratic presidential candidate to Hillary's left would catch a spark that would be fanned by the media. Still, better a straight talking self avowed socialist, than a bombastic, ego driven empty suit with a full head of fake hair.
But the summer of our discontent will fall to the sum of our fears. Republicans will be chilled by a Clinton front. Democrats will be frozen with fright at the prospect of the perfect storm of a cold hearted Republican Congress aligning with a Republican President. Hillary's deep pockets and soft platitudes will be shelter from the storm.
